Irvins Singapore, which made the news as recently as December when their Salted Egg Fish Skin chips came with a deep fried lizard, is showing in earnest that they are ready to move on in 2019. They recently posted on a job hiring website for the position of quality control inspector.

Although nothing of the job ad mentioned whether the quality control inspector need to specifically check for lizards, it did indicate that they have to work closely with the QC Manager to ensure quality of their products. The potential employees should also have at least a year's of experience in the food manufacturing industry working in the quality control sector. And to ensure good quality products are pushed out, potential employees are told to expect working overtime, Saturdays and even doing shift work.

The ad did not say of the position was a newly created one within the company, or as a replacement due to recent events.
